1. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order on artcyst.ph, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
2. About Our Products
All folios and accessories sold by artcyst.ph are handcrafted to order. Because each item is made individually by hand, there will be natural minor variations in stitching, cord tension, leather texture, and finish. These are not defects — they are characteristics of handmade work. Product images on our website are representative. Leather color may vary slightly between screens and batches due to monitor calibration and material dye lots.
3. Ordering & Payment
3.1 How Orders Work
Orders are placed through our online customizer. Submission of the order form constitutes an intent to purchase. Your order is only confirmed once proof of payment has been received and verified by artcyst.ph.
3.2 Payment Method
We accept payment via GCash, Maya, BDO, and GoTyme Bank. All payments are made manually by the customer through the provided account numbers or QR codes. artcyst.ph does not process card payments and is not responsible for transfer fees charged by your payment provider.
3.3 Proof of Payment
You are required to upload a screenshot or photo of your payment confirmation through our Payment Portal. Accepted file formats are PNG and JPG, maximum 10 MB. Orders without a verified proof of payment will not be processed.
3.4 Pricing
All prices are listed in Philippine Pesos (₱) and are final at the time of checkout. artcyst.ph reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If a pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding.
3.5 Batch Capacity
We cap each production batch at 30 active orders to maintain quality. If the batch is full at the time of your submission, your order will not be accepted. We are not liable for any inconvenience caused by batch unavailability.
3.6 Payment Reservation & Order Expiration
Upon placing an order, your slot in the production batch and any selected stock items are reserved for 12 hours. You must submit your proof of payment through the Payment Portal within this window to confirm your order. If payment is not received within 12 hours of order placement, your order will be automatically marked as Expired, your reservation will be released, and reserved stock will be returned to inventory. artcyst.ph will notify you by email if your order expires. No charges are made until payment is verified by artcyst.ph.
4. Production & Lead Time
4.1 Lead Time
All orders are subject to a production lead time of 7–10 business days from the date payment is verified. This is the time required to handcraft your folio before it is handed to the courier — it is not the total delivery time.
4.2 Delays
Lead times are estimates. artcyst.ph will not be held liable for delays caused by high order volume, material sourcing issues, courier delays, natural events, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you of significant delays via email.
4.3 Production Start
Production begins after payment verification. Once production has started, your order specifications are locked and cannot be changed.
5. Customization & Specifications
5.1 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing all customization choices (size, leather color, cord colors, engraving text, add-ons, and shipping region) before submitting your order. artcyst.ph will produce the folio exactly as specified in the order.
5.2 Engraving
Engraving is permanent and cannot be corrected after production. Please double-check spelling, font, and placement zone. artcyst.ph is not liable for errors in engraving text that were submitted by the customer.
5.3 Charm Availability
Certain charms are marked as subject to availability or limited pieces. If a charm you selected is unavailable at the time of production, we will contact you to offer a substitute or a partial refund for that item only.
6. Shipping & Delivery
6.1 Courier
We ship via standard Philippine couriers to Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. International shipping is not currently available.
6.2 Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your region and folio size. These fees are non-refundable once your order has been dispatched.
6.3 Local Meet-Up (Ilocos Norte)
Customers in Ilocos Norte may arrange a free local meet-up. Meet-up location and schedule are subject to mutual agreement. artcyst.ph is not liable for items once they have been handed over at the agreed meet-up point.
6.4 Lost or Damaged Shipments
Once your order has been handed to the courier, risk of loss or damage passes to the courier. artcyst.ph will assist in filing a claim with the courier where possible but cannot guarantee reimbursement for lost or damaged shipments.
7. Cancellations & Modifications
7.1 Cancellation Window
Once payment has been verified, orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of that verification, provided production has not yet started. Note that unpaid orders expire automatically after 12 hours (see Section 3.6). To cancel a confirmed order, contact us directly at artcyst.ph@gmail.com or via our social media channels (@artcyst.ph).
7.2 After Production Starts
Once production has started, cancellations are not accepted and no refund will be issued, as materials have already been cut and assembled for your specific order.
7.3 Modifications
Order modifications (color, size, engraving, add-ons) may be requested within 24 hours of placement. After that window, your specifications are final.
8. Refunds & Returns
8.1 No Returns on Custom Orders
Because all folios are made to your exact specifications, we do not accept returns for change of mind.
8.2 Defective Items
If your folio arrives with a manufacturing defect (e.g., broken hardware, incorrect engraving due to our error, wrong size), contact us within 5 days of receipt with clear photos. We will assess the issue and, at our discretion, offer a replacement, repair, or partial refund.
8.3 What Is Not Covered
Normal variation in handmade craftsmanship, minor color differences between screen and product, wear and tear from use, and damage caused by improper care are not covered.
9. Privacy & Data
9.1 Order Data
We collect your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address solely to process and fulfil your order. Proof-of-payment images are stored securely in Google Drive and deleted once your order has shipped.
9.2 Waitlist
If you submit your email address through our "Notify Me" waitlist form, we will store that address solely to send you a one-time notification when the next batch opens. Your email is permanently deleted from our records immediately after that notification is sent. You will not receive further emails unless you sign up again for a future batch. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. For data access or deletion requests, contact artcyst.ph@gmail.com.
10. Intellectual Property
All product photos, brand assets, the artcyst.ph name and logo, and website content are the intellectual property of artcyst.ph. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any of our content without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
artcyst.ph's liability in any dispute is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific order concerned.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved under Philippine jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
artcyst.ph reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
